Systems

Medicine

Our research in systems medicine focuses on unraveling the intricate dynamics of the innate immune response and designing biological controllers to combat chronic disease. We use computational techniques to construct comprehensive network diagrams of disease states. Moreover, we model the spatiotemporal dynamics of immune responses during pathogen invasions by integrating ordinary differential equations and agent-based modeling.

By integrating advanced data analysis techniques and mathematical modeling, our work will diagram the molecular foundations of systemic chronic diseases across the urogenital, gastrointestinal, and dermatological systems.
